Siyu Lu

Siyu Lu is a Chinese dance artist whose work bridges Eastern and Western movement philosophies. Trained in Chinese classical and folk dance in Beijing, she later earned an MA in Dance Performance from London Contemporary Dance School. Her research merges academic and urban forms, blending precision with raw physicality. Also an experienced commercial dance teacher and choreographer, Siyu brings versatility and boldness to her movement language. Through her work, she challenges boundaries and reimagines cultural narratives. She has collaborated with Humanhood, Dickson Mbi Company, and Xiexin Dance Theatre, fostering dialogue through dance and cross-cultural exchange.
